Making College More Affordable

Investing in the future of our students

Smiles for Scholars™

In an effort to help students save money for college, Dr. Gramins and Dr. Lin perform complimentary wisdom teeth extractions to the chosen recipients.

The money that would have been used for this procedure can then be put toward college expenses, such as textbooks and supplies.

Did you know...

  • Wisdom teeth got their nickname from the age when they typically come in. They come in around the age of 17-25, a time also referred to as the “age of wisdom”.

  • The number of wisdom teeth varies from person to person. Some people only grow one wisdom tooth, while others have two, three, four+ or none at all.

  • When wisdom teeth are impacted, or unable to fully erupt through the gums, they can become trapped or grow in at an angle that can cause issues in your mouth or sinuses.

  • Wisdom teeth can be impacted due to lack of space in the jaw.

  • 85% of wisdom teeth will need to be removed at some point.
